ニットの季節がやってきました

The season for changing out your wardrobe has officially arrived. Many of you are likely looking forward to wearing your favorite item of the year: knitwear. In this feature, we will introduce a wide range of knitwear from muller of yoshiokubo, from playful designs to pieces with unique textures.

MOHAIR LINEN SWEATER
This knit is made using roving yarn* sourced from Belgian linen. By spinning the yarn with minimal twisting, it creates a slub texture that at first glance doesn't look like linen at all, but rather has the feel of mohair. It features an elegant look with a light, airy feel and the natural texture inherent to linen. Because linen also offers excellent heat retention, it is a very useful piece for this current season as the weather turns chilly.

*Roving yarn: Loosely twisted yarn
**Twist: Adding tension to a bundle of fibers to increase strength

MOHAIR LINEN DRESS
A dress tailored from the same material as the sweater. It is a low-gauge knit, so it feels more like a long top than a traditional dress. It offers great versatility for styling, as you can freely pair it with various bottoms and inner layers.

MOHAIR CROPPED TOP
This knit, with a high alpaca content of 69%, is lightweight and offers excellent heat retention. While pilling is often a concern with knitwear, another reason we recommend this piece is that it is resistant to pilling. The thumbholes and the line circling the sleeves add a subtle flair to your hands, even during the winter season when you are layering outerwear.

BUFFALO GLOVE SWEATER
A sweater that comes with detachable eco-leather gloves. The rib-stitch is a standard knitting pattern for sweaters, making this a simple piece that you won't get tired of. It features drop shoulders and a boxy silhouette for a loose fit. We also recommend enjoying it by layering tops underneath. It is also designed with thumbholes, making your hands an accent to your outfit.
