Introducing outfit styling inspired by 4 different scenes
Recently, we held a poll on the muller of yoshiokubo Instagram, asking you all, "Which Instagram LIVE topics are you interested in?" Thank you all for voting!
Based on your feedback, our live broadcast on November 19th focused on "how to style tops," which was the most requested topic.
During the broadcast, we selected one of four scenes—theme park, art museum, casual weekend stroll, or dinner—and had Fukushima-san and staff member Ando-san create improvisational stylings.
Their selections for these "real-time, unscripted outfits" truly allowed their individual personalities to shine. Here, we would like to re-introduce those looks to you.
Fukushima-san's Styling
A floral top with an alluring, unapologetic femininity
The top Fukushima-san chose is the CREST EMBROIDERY TOP.
It features ruffles on the sleeves and hem, and the original floral embroidery is sure to lift your spirits.
She layered a high-neck top underneath, focusing on an autumn/winter look that is as warm as it appears.
By unifying the inner layer and footwear in black, she created a chic impression while still incorporating color.

Japanese dinner with friends
Fukushima-san chose "dinner" from the four scenes.
Outfits often change depending on who you are with—friends, family, or a partner—but this time, she styled it for "enjoying a Japanese dinner with friends."
She chose the MOHAIR JACKET, which has an impressive silhouette, and the GRASS LINE SKIRT, which features a rich texture.
Fukushima-san's comment: When going out with friends, it's great to be able to enjoy your favorite look without reservation.
I fastened the cardigan up to the second button, keeping an A-line silhouette in mind.
I think the color-coordinated inner top and skirt highlight the vertical lines and help elevate the overall style.
Fukushima-san's comment: I was debating whether to go with the Suede Charm Pouch in IVORY to match the top's color, but I chose BROWN because I wanted to incorporate a casual element.
I swapped the pouch handle for the colorful Phone Charm (short) to add a pop of color. My style is all about incorporating playful items into my outfits.

Staff Member Ando-san's Styling
A versatile top for on and off-duty days
Staff member Ando-san chose the MOON TOP.
This is a cut-and-sew piece made from a combination of materials, featuring vegan leather on the front and cotton on the sleeves and back.
This top, with its understated yet refined texture and details, is the perfect item to set simple outfits apart.
She layered the ASYMMETRY RIB TOP underneath to complete a subtle layered look.

Visiting an art museum with friends
With a unified, muted color palette of BLACK and BEIGE, she created a modern art museum-appropriate look.
For a look intended for visiting a museum with a friend followed by a cafe visit or a light meal, she chose items that are easy to move in and comfortable to wear.
Staff member Ando-san's comment: I tried out a layered skirt-and-pants style.
Keeping seasonal trends in mind, I layered the BUMPY WOOL LAYER SKIRT and BUMPY WOOL PANTS in the same material.
While this skirt is originally a two-layer item, I made use of the slit and am wearing only the outer skirt.
Staff member Ando-san's comment: For outerwear, I chose a down vest that is lightweight and warm, perfect for a day of walking around like at a museum.
The gathers throughout the vest add an accent to the solid styling.
By carefully selecting items with sophisticated textures and details, a calm, mature look is complete.
