Summer Outfit Ideas vol.2

Following up on last week, we are bringing you part 2 of our summer styling guide.

While vaccinations are progressing, we still can't go without masks this summer. Since things inevitably feel hot around the face, it's nice to choose clothing that feels as cool as possible.

Let’s get through this intense heat by incorporating loose-fitting silhouettes that don't restrict, along with breathable cotton materials.

A summer staple is the white T-shirt. By keeping the tones of your bottoms and accessories muted, you create a contrast that makes the top stand out more refreshingly. The keys to avoiding a "loose" look are choosing a fabric with moderate crispness and a neckline that features a thick rib and isn't too low. Plus, the foil-stamped design on the back of the neck allows for a subtle touch of style. Pairing it with shorts or bottoms that reveal a glimpse of the ankles adds a sense of effortless ease.

If you’re going to incorporate dark colors in the summer, a sleeveless top that shows a little skin creates a cool, striking presence. When paired with fabric that has a nice drape and movement, it won't feel too heavy, resulting in an urban style. Sleeveless tops are also great for layering and work well with many items. Try coordinating with a vest or gilet, or layer it with a shirt to wear it across different seasons. Since they can be styled for so many occasions, you'll want to have a few on hand.

The non-restrictive silhouette and crisp fabric mean that your undergarments won't show through easily, so you can wear it with peace of mind even on sweaty summer days. For an active day, you’ll want to wear it casually with a light, breezy pair of pants. By coordinating this item—which works for a wide range of ages—in monochromatic tones, you achieve a mature, sophisticated look.

Following last week, we introduced outfits for enjoying the summer—what did you think? Especially during this time of intense heat, it’s important to select clothing that is light and comfortable. Let’s get through the summer by incorporating items that you can love and use for a long time in your everyday life!
