■Look 1
WRINKLE LONG SLEEVE TOP
WRINKLE SIDE RIBBON TOP
WRINKLE SIDE RIBBON SKIRT
An outfit featuring the same material for both the top and bottom. I styled it in neutral colors: IVORY and CHARCOAL. It adds a sense of calm to the soft, relaxed vibe, creating a sophisticated look.
I used the WRINKLE SIDE RIBBON TOP as an accent piece tied around the waist. Layering it this way allows you to fully enjoy the three-dimensional effect and texture unique to the wrinkled fabric.
The light, airy Wrinkle series is perfect for the LA climate, where it is still quite hot during the day. The soft fabric that envelops the body also makes it ideal for loungewear at home. ■Look 2
SLOW LAYER TOP
SNOW HALF PANTS
A silhouette with great contrast, achieved by adding volume to the top. For the SLOW LAYER TOP, which blends both casual and elegant elements, I added an inner cut-and-sew top and finished the look with accessories like a bandana.
This completes a casual style that is easy for mature women to adopt.
■Look 3
PATCH POCKET COAT
BUMPY WOOL CROSS TOP
PRIPELA QUILT POCKET PANTS
A styling that uses contrast by incorporating just one colored item. It creates a modern look that stands out in the city.
The waist belt on this coat, which comes with a pochette, can also be used like a crossbody bag. I use it to quickly store my compact wallet, smartphone, and the lip balm I use every day when heading out.
The coat features detachable sleeves, making it very useful in LA where the temperature varies significantly. You can style it creatively, such as by pulling your arms out from where the sleeves are partially detached, or by removing them entirely to wear it as a gilet. That concludes our introduction to the director's favorite outfits.
This will continue in Vol. 2. Please look forward to the next installment!
